Conjuring spirits from a dynamic contingent
If you believe the adage, I’m sharing the equivalent of 10,000 words to kick off 2023.
That’s 10 pictures, each worth 1000.
Not just pictures, portraits.
These were taken over time, so as Shakespeare would say, some of the “mortal coils” have evolved (though not much).
Essences are less mutable; I hope these images offer glimpses of them.
While there are a few rogues mixed in, this is not a Rogue’s Gallery. It is a Cape Cod Gallery.
Each person qualifies as “local,” though none were born here.
Each offers a nuanced contribution to life and times, my own and the community’s.
Each surely is worth more than 1000 words – as is every one of you reading this and gazing back.
