A few columns ago I celebrated the creation of a new documentary I helped shape with the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance and filmmaker Mark Birnbaum; “Small Boats Big Taste: How a Community Combatted COVID.” Here’s that story for those who missed it (or want to revisit my not-quite-deathless prose):
"Small Boats Big Taste" is a huge success
Lots of people had heart-warming things to say about the effort, much appreciated.
Now there’s a chance to see the film in the wonderful ambiance of one of the Cape’s best venues.
The Chatham Orpheum on Main Street will be hosting us Thursday, May 29, 5 pm, for a free screening, conversation to follow, with some tasty “Small Boats Big Taste” chowder and stew to slurp as well.
I’ll be there to answer questions, explore any topics that come to mind — even get splattered with rotten tomatoes if that’s how it goes! The documentary is just under half an hour, so (tomatoes aside) dinner plans shouldn’t be disrupted.
Stop by if you can, I love meeting up with “Voice” readers and while I’m biased, I think the documentary is fascinating, well worth checking out. Satisfaction guaranteed or double your viewing back!

Hope to see you and welcome you,
