Fascinating. I know so little about this stretch of the cape. I just may explore 28 this winter on our way out to the solitude of Truro and off season Provincetown.
Thank you. Much needed & much appreciated. I live in South Yarmouth and have experienced that soon as you tell someone else who lives elsewhere on the Cape that you do you, there’s judgement in their eyes. The whole 28 corridor is mainly devoted to tourism , but the mom & pop feel to Yarmouth’s portion is a time capsule that I hope will continue. Btw, Yarmouth has some of the best beaches on the Sound.
Better than a video is a regular podcast. I know that's not your skill set, since I already suggested it, but I bet you could interview a dozen savvy would-be podcasters who could take your material and reach a broader younger audience. Podcasts have costs but ,most do commercials. So local businesses and institutions would find it attractive to be part of the movement. Look to high schools, 4-C's, P-town activists etc. You might also from time be interviewed by your podcaster as a feature. Best of all you have a nice trove of material that would sustain the effort.
Most interesting thought, though the production required to get to quality I would feel halfway good about is daunting. As you'll see above, the other multi-media option that's intriguing is a podcast, perhaps to accompany a written piece or as a separate submission entirely. That one has a lower barrier for technical proficiency -- basically a good read with a decent quality recording. I'm not sure how best to offer it to subscribers or new listeners, but been musing on it for sure. Big thanks for the thought.
Were I not old and wizened, I would certainly be blushing right now, especially because such praise comes from someone who over and over has given so much to this community. Thank you Bob, and with your help and encouragement I'll do my best to be sure, as your Latin note urges (and was the motto of the original Cape Cod Voice), not to let the bastards grind me down! :)

Thank you for laying these locations & ideas out so clearly. This voice is so needed.

With your chops as a documentary filmmaker, I'd love to see you make short video to accompany some of these, as a link, however.
