Very rich, resonant and, yes, sweet memory and story. I knew nothing of the Brandeis origin narrative, of which this is a beautiful part. As for your school misfortune, I identified with it. As you know, the current resident of 1600 PA AV et ux once spent the weekend in my house. I rarely if ever tell that story for fear of receiving the same treatment your story earned you, minus the exile to the corner. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
